Our Story

A New Approach to Early Education

Founded in 2017, Oxford Little Angels (OLA) was born from a desire to challenge the “one-size-fits-all” educational model.

Our founder and Principal, Mrs. Noella Heaven, saw this gap firsthand. Drawing from her experience as an Early Childhood Education lecturer at Brooklyn City College and her background in Child Psychology and Criminology at Monash University, she identified two truths:

  1. Many children are far more capable than our society gives them credit for.
  2. A lack of deep partnership between parents and teachers often holds children back.

OLA was built on a powerful solution that aims to meet every child at their level and nurture their unique potential. We do this through a truly collaborative approach, where our teachers and parents work together as much as possible.

This approach works. We now boast over 150 successful graduates, with many going on to receive “High Achiever” awards in primary school. It’s this success and the trust of our parent community that has fueled our continued growth.

What Do We Stand For?

Our Core Values in Action

Our philosophy is the basis for everything we do and is based on four core values.

Nurturing Teachers

We believe who teaches matters as much as what is taught. Our teachers are passionate, caring individuals who create a warm, loving, and safe environment. This allows your child to build trust, feel secure, and explore their world with confidence.

Innovative Learning

We believe children learn best by doing. That is why we have a dynamic educational programme. It is designed to empower kids with confidence and a true love for learning, rather than just focusing on memorisation. We spark their curiosity so they can succeed on their own.

Holistic Child Development

We nurture the whole child. This means focusing equally on their academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. This begins with providing a safe and secure space for them to explore, which is why our school is monitored by CCTV. Our personalised student support systems and healthy, balanced meals offerings are all designed with this value in mind.

Strong Parent Partnership

We believe education starts in the family, and we see you, the parents, as our most important partner. We create constant opportunities for collaboration, from regular communication to parent-child events. We want to ensure we are always working together for your child's success.

Our Vision

Moulding Leaders & Uplifting Our Community

Our mission is to be a force for good. We are dedicated to moulding the proud, African leaders of tomorrow.  We do this by helping students to develop the confidence, skills, and most importantly, the character they need to excel.

Our vision doesn’t stop at our school walls, however. This is because we believe true leadership means service. We are passionately committed to taking care of our local community by actively supporting families in need through fundraising and outreach programs.

Furthermore, we know that talent and potential are found in every home. That is why we are driven to offer scholarships to bright children from all backgrounds, giving them the same access to a high-quality, innovative education. At the root of all we do, from every lesson we teach to every family we support, is our strong faith in God and a guiding commitment to “True Love” ideals.
