At Oxford Little Angels (OLA), our mission is to mold the future leaders of tomorrow. To achieve this, we must maintain a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment where every child can thrive. This Code of Conduct outlines the values and behaviours we expect from all members of our community, learners, parents, and staff alike.
By enrolling your child at OLA, you agree to uphold these principles and partner with us in creating a positive “learning-by-doing” environment.
Our school is rooted in strong moral values, faith in God, and the ideal of “True Love.” We believe that discipline is not about punishment, but about guidance. We aim to teach children self-regulation, empathy, and respect for themselves and others.
While we understand that young children are still learning to manage their emotions, we gently guide them toward the following behaviours:
Kind Hands & Feet: We do not hit, push, bite, or hurt others. We use our hands to help and play.
Kind Words: We speak nicely to our friends and teachers. We do not use bad language or tease others.
Respect: We listen when our teachers are speaking and we look after our school toys and equipment.
Honesty: We tell the truth, even when we have made a mistake.
A strong parent-teacher partnership is the foundation of OLA. To ensure this partnership works, we expect parents to:
Respect Staff: Treat all OLA staff with dignity and courtesy. Aggressive behaviour, shouting, or abusive language toward staff will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of the enrolment contract.
Communication: Raise concerns through the correct channels (directly with the Principal or Teacher) rather than engaging in gossip or using social media to air grievances.
Punctuality: Respect school hours. Late drop-offs disrupt the class routine, and late pick-ups cause anxiety for your child.
Health & Safety: Do not send a sick child to school. If your child has a fever, contagious infection, or “runny tummy,” they must be kept at home to protect the health of other children and staff.
Social Media Privacy: Respect the privacy of other families. Do not post photos of other people’s children on your personal social media accounts without their explicit permission.
Our teachers are the role models for your children. They are committed to:
Professionalism: Maintaining high standards of integrity, punctuality, and preparation.
Nurturing Care: Treating every child with fairness, patience, and love. No child shall ever be belittled or humiliated.
Safety First: Vigilantly supervising children at all times and adhering to strict safety protocols.
No Corporal Punishment: OLA has a strict Zero Tolerance policy regarding corporal punishment. We do not smack or physically punish children.
We view behavioural challenges as opportunities for learning. Our approach to discipline is restorative, not punitive.
Redirection: For younger children, we use distraction and redirection to guide them away from negative behaviour.
“Time-In”: Rather than a “Time-Out” which isolates a child, we use “Time-In” where a teacher sits with the child to calm them down and explain why the behaviour was unsafe or unkind.
Parental Involvement: If a child shows persistent behavioural challenges (such as biting or bullying), we will call a meeting with the parents to work on a joint strategy. We believe in solving problems together.
Bullying (physical or verbal) is not accepted at Oxford Little Angels.
We teach children to be “upstanders,” not bystanders.
Any reports of bullying are investigated immediately.
We focus on helping the bully understand the impact of their actions while ensuring the victim feels safe and supported.
Acceptance of this Code of Conduct is a condition of enrolment at Oxford Little Angels. We reserve the right to amend this code to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our school community.

I'm so grateful to the entire team at Oxford Little Angels. My son has grown a lot in confidence and knowledge since he started. Noella has been very easy to communicate with. She has been caring and seems to really know what she is doing. I would highly recommend OLA to anyone looking for a good creche.
This is honestly such a good school. My nephew attended OLA and now my niece does too. I can't say enough how much they have improved. They can read, count, draw, dance, sing and more. They actually seem to enjoy it too. They are even asking me to read storybooks with them constantly. I was so surprised.
My daughter just finished her first year of primary school at Paterson Park primary school. She got the highest achiever award. Her teachers are saying that she is very focused and seems to be ahead of all her peers. I believe that it is because we chose the right preschool. OLA, thank you very much.
